Jody Sisk

Founder and Principal Ecological Consultant


Mr. Jody Sisk founded Atlantic Ecological Services with a vision centered around scientific integrity, environmental responsibility, and practical ecological solutions. With more than 25 years of environmental consulting experience, he has successfully managed environmentally complex projects for public agencies, municipalities, developers, and private landowners throughout Florida.


His expertise includes wetlands consulting, protected species management, environmental land planning, land management, and marine ecological consulting. Mr. Sisk remains committed to helping clients navigate environmental challenges while preserving the natural systems that support long-term sustainability.

Jonathan Oravetz

Jonathan Oravetz

Project Manager


Jonathan Oravetz brings more than 17 years of environmental consulting experience supporting a wide range of ecological and regulatory projects for both public and private sector clients. As a professional biologist, he specializes in wetland permitting, endangered species assessments, mitigation planning, environmental impact analysis, and biological field investigations.


His experience includes NEPA documentation, wildlife survey methodology development, marine environmental studies, and protected species surveys involving numerous state and federally listed species. Jonathan’s scientific expertise and field knowledge continue to strengthen Atlantic Ecological Services’ reputation for dependable and environmentally responsible consulting services.

As a professional environmental scientist, he specializes in wetland permitting, wetland delineation and assessments, water quality sampling and analysis,  and design and implementation of biological assessments. He has a wide r

 Mr. Lynn has 15 years of experience in the environmental Field, working in both the public and private sector. As a professional environmental scientist, he specializes in wetland permitting, wetland delineation and assessments, water quality sampling and analysis,  and design and implementation of biological assessments. He has a wide range of field   experience ranging from; wetland delineation, protected species survey, oyster   monitoring, submerged aquatic vegetation surveys, saltmarsh vegetation surveys, surface elevations of salt marshes, habitat and stream condition index of freshwater streams and water sampling of fresh and marine systems. He has significant experience in the permitting process on large plats of land.   

Kellen Bongartz, Project Ecologist

Kellen Bongartz, Project Ecologist

 Kellen is an Authorized Gopher tortoise agent and handles our recipient site gopher   tortoise transport, bucket traps, and markings. He has 5 years of field experience   in gopher tortoise surveys, threatened and endangered species, bald eagle nest   monitoring, wetland delineations, and native plantings. He also has experience   with shoreline restoration and Phase 1 ESA audits.   

Noah Hoffman, GIS Analyst & Project Ecologist

Noah Hoffman, GIS Analyst & Project Ecologist

 Noah is Florida native as well as a graduate from the University of Central Florida   obtaining a B.S. in Environmental Studies including a certification in Geographic   Information Systems. Noah specializes in GIS and field support on a range   of environmental consulting projects. Noah is an Army paratrooper veteran.
